Rapid development in global business and its impact on India's domestic market call for a professional approach and sensitivity to international business environment. MBA course help to develop a pool of human resource to cater for trained personnel in the field of international business management in general and national demand, in particular.

The minimum qualification for admission to MBA programmes is a Bachelors degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering/Technology/Medical/Dental/Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities. The candidates who will appear in final examination (Graduation) to be held in 2010 & results published by September 2010 may also apply.

The application form may be downloaded from the websites www.wbut.ac.in and www.wbut.net . Completed application forms are to be submitted to the University office. Examination fees are Rs. 800 for general category and Rs. 400 for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates (without late fine). The examination fees are to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of West Bengal University of Technology payable at Kolkata. Attested copies of marksheets, certificates and other testimonials as well as SC/ST/OBC/PH certificates should be submitted with the Application Form.

The JEMAT written test will be of objective type consisting of three sections of 2 hours duration ( 11 a.m. to 1 p.m ) as detailed below:

Logical Resoning
20 Marks

The written examination will be conducted by WBUT.

Applicants need to be in contact with the individual colleges / institutes for admission to the MBA programmes and should apply to them when such applications are sought. GD / PI will be conducted by the individual colleges / institutes.
